Solar Thermal Applications

Combining domestic hot water (DHW) and pool heating in a solar thermal application has many benefits. In a properly sized system, solar energy generates the majority of the DHW, and once at maximum capacity, surplus energy can be used to extend the season of a pool. Four to ten panels and 80 to 200 gallon (300 to 750 L) tanks are typically used in this type of application.
